Mikey O’Shaughnessy has been a staple on the North Shore of Oahu for quite some time now. Originally from the Big Island, Mikey has made it his life pursuit to chase waves of the highest consequences. And from the looks of it, this life pursuit is going quite well. Not to mention, Mikey full embodies everything that is the Aloha spirit. Leaving behind the age-old stereotypes that have for years plagued the image of the North Shore. Mikey “Redd” as many call him, is shaping this new era of big wave surfing that look to set a community example for those after. For that reason, not only do we salute him but we proudly welcome him to the XTERRA SURF FAMILY!
